Pig and Fire House of Barbeque: Reviews & Ratings
My husband and I stopped in for a Friday Happy Hour a few weeks ago and had an amazing experience! We grabbed seats at the tavern, where the bartender was exceptional—welcoming, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about both the drinks and the menu. I cannot remember his name, but he was awesome! The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were perfectly chilled, and the atmosphere made for a perfect date night. It’s easily become one of our favorite local spots, and we can’t wait to return.
2 photos: One of the Brisket Wedge Salad w/ Iceberg Wedge, Roasted Corn, Red Onion, Bacon Crumbles, Creamy Bleu, Flanked w/ Brisket (Brisket slightly overcooked, small hard pit or bacon bit in salad that luckily didn't break a tooth so maybe skip the bacon bits?), other than that a great server and atmosphere. Second photo of BBQ Beef Brisket w/ Cowboy Sauce, Pickles & Onions, w/ side of Potato Salad. Sat on the deck with a panoramic view of the Rt 19/Racetrack Road intersection and valley. We plan to visit again when company comes to town.
This is a quaint restaurant, that looks like it started as a converted house, and an added backyard patio/bar. Sat outside at the back patio. Very comfortable bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Ordered 1/2 rack of ribs, which were very good, but could have used a bit more smoke flavor, but the meat fell off the bone and was not dry. Would definitely order again. There were a lot of other items that looked good as well. There was a rush, and just the bartender working the patio, so things slowed down, but the bartender did a great job in trying to get everyone drinks and food orders in. Great staff and atmosphere and food!
The food was good, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I recommend trying the sauces at the table. Especially the peach barbecue sauce.
It is the best bbq that I have ever ate, that was me and my wifes second trip there, and we plan on making more trips there
Phenomenal service, delicious barbeque food, and quaint homey little location. Our hostess was lovely and our server James was incredibly charming, attentive, and efficient. The food and drink was incredible, with perfectly smoked tender meats, the best mac and cheese, and delightful whimsical cocktails. We shared a full swine platter and I had the cotton candy lemonade with fun banana cotton candy topping at happy hour. Will be back!
A friend had dined here the night before and posted her experience on social media, so I just had to try it, too! And from the moment I walked in, they were sooooo friendly, nice and accommodating. Listened to my needs and were so eager to help. And it wasn’t just one member of the staff- it was EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of them! And don’t get me started on the food!!!! The ribs fell off the bone, the brisket tender and flavorful and the Gouda mac-n-cheese was literally MELT IN YOUR MOUTH.
Food was amazing and the service and the bar tender Acacia was phenomenal! Attentive and the food came out fast and delicious. The bread pudding layer cake is a must!!!!
